The Pappas Post was founded by Gregory Pappas.
According to his personal website, Pappas started The Pappas Post as a print publication, which he distributed from his parents’ garage in Pittsburgh for 12 years before taking the publication online.
Pappas Post describes itself as a “collective of news and content about the world of Greece, in English”. Stories include news from Greece, as well as newsworthy U.S. events and stories in the categories Diaspora, Religion, Culture, Sports and Entertainment. Features on the site cover History, Arts, Food & Wine, and Destinations. You can read Pappas Post on the site, at www.pappaspost.com, subscribe to their newsletter, or follow on social media.
Gregory Pappas also founded the Greek America Foundation, a non-profit organization now incorporated in New York State.
